Just heard Let The Good Times Roll on Rock 101 today. They play Cars fairly frequently. I also listen to The Cars fairly regularly in the course of life. Ha ha, no, I don't refer to the noise of vehicles passing by on Hwy 1, or indeed to the sound of my own Honda's squeaky brakes. I mean the group of which I speak in this particular posting.
Queen proclaimed that they were in love with their car. Freddie famously 'loved' many... nouns.
Cars are unmissable in the Lower Mainland. First of all, many of us commute back and forth to work, which means we're in and around cars cars cars for long periods of time several days a week. I listen to several radio stations for traffic updates in order to avoid being trapped behind cars. In more than one of my businesses I work with others in the car industry. Cars are a huge part of our culture. More will be said in future days on this subject, I'm sure.
